Hug The Backyard Ultra Mauritius is a RSVP Event that first took place in 2021 at Falaise Rouge, Ferney valley. Backyard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6706 meters (4.167 miles) in less than one hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour’s race. There is a departure every hour. Runners are disqualified if they do not complete the loop in less than an hour or fail to start the next loop on time. There is only one winner in Backyard Ultras. The last runner standing.
